About.

I am a licensed psychotherapist in New York State with
specialized training in positive psychology and in the treatment of addictions. I also have an extensive background in the creative arts and writing. My approach is a blend of relational and psychodynamic theories with an emphasis on attachment and developmental issues pertaining to anxiety, depression, and trauma.  

Methods and Approaches.

We help individuals and families dissolve the painful blocks impeding their experience of each other so they can enjoy authentic, engaging, and fulfilling relationships. In addition to clinical social work
I have been trained in positive psychology and the treatment of additions. Our approach is multi-systemic, humanistic, client-centered, and relational.

We all have the capacity to access our own unconscious programming—the values, rules, and tempos we absorbed from our families. Given the right opportunities, we can learn how to modify
​or upgrade aspects of those programs that are constricting or no longer useful to us in our lives
and relationships.
